    4. In these 1 hour classes, kids are ready to add more complex movements and strategies
    5. and they begin to spar more which really advances their skills and improves self-confidence.
    6. Note: Sometimes classes combine different age groups, but kids are grouped and matched appropriately based
    7. on age, size, and experience.
    8. We teach both verbal response methods and non-violent self-defence techniques so that your kid will
    9. gain the self-confidence to diffuse confrontations before they escalate and the skills to protect themselves,
    10. if attacked.
    11. These classes are structured very similar to the adult classes – but organized so the
    12. kids get to interact, learn, and motivate each other. It’s a full jiu jitsu curriculum,
    13. but taught in a very structured manner that works well with teens.
